How to turn your house in to a home

We’ve been in our new house for just over two months (still without WiFi but, whatever, I’m not bitter…) and I’m starting to look at it with fresh eyes. Fresh, designers eyes to be specific.

When we left our teeny tiny London flat and moved to the countryside, we were lucky enough to find a house that was pretty much like we’d decorated ourselves. No work needed. A blessing.

But now that we’ve unpacked and we’re feeling settled, I feel like it’s time to start putting our own stamp on the place. Somehow I need to turn it from a house into a home. I need to make it the house my Pinterest boards have been dreaming of.

Where to start? With these beauties, of course.

This is the home I’m building. Right after I’ve slept, eaten and watched more Jessica Jones.

  1. I have lived in my little flat for nearly a year and as it was perfectly livable when i moved in, I have done very little, but it’s time to do something to make it my own.
