Jam puff rolls

I just made this name up. Can you tell? We had some left over puff pastry and so decided to make the quickest and easiest snacks in the world. They were totally delicious! 

The best thing about these tasty rolls is that you can replace the jam with whatever you fancy, sweet or savory. Cheese? Maple syrup? Sugar and cinnamon? All good. Prepare yourselves for the easiest recipe this blog has ever seen.

Ingredients:

As much puff pastry as you care to use 
Enough butter to thinly cover the pastry 
Enough jam to thinly cover the pastry, ideally smooth (no big bits of fruit)

Roll out the pasty to approx 2-3mm thick. Spread a thin layer of butter across the pastry, followed by a thin layer of smooth jam.

Once covered in jam, roll the pastry gently (whichever you want) so as not to squeeze the jam out as you roll.

Once in a thin roll, slice into rounds approx 2-3cm thick then place on a sheet of silver foil.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees centigrade for 15-20 mins until golden brown. Leave to cool, then eat with a lovely cuppa tea.
