Goats cheese, pear and almond salad

Another tasty (easy) salad coming your way. 

Ingredients:

Handful of bistro salad leaves 
2 x white crusty bread 
0.5 pear 
30g goats cheese 
Handful of chopped almonds 

Recipe:

Put a frying pan on a medium heat and add the handful of chopped almonds. Toss until brown on both sides, then set aside in a bowl.

Put the frying pan back on a medium heat and add a dash of olive oil. Cut the white bread into chunks and add to the hot olive oil.

Whilst the croutons are cooking, put the salad leaves in a bowl and slice half a pair into matchsticks. (Had to ask the chef what matchsticks were. Turns out it means thin strips…like matchsticks. Makes sense.)

Add the pear and croutons to the salad bowl, then crumble goats cheese on top and add the almonds.
